The Tetiaroa Atoll is a place unlike any other. Built by volcanoes and preserved by coral, this is where nature, Polynesian people, and their culture come together to seamlessly coexist with a world-class resort. The Tetiaroa Society oversees and protects the atoll in conjunction with the resort and the Brando Family Trust to ensure this oasis in the deep blue Pacific is preserved and protected for future generations.
Spread across the Onetahi motu and set back just off the beach are 35 private villas and one private residence, each a retreat within this sanctuary called Tetiaroa. There’s a flow to these spaces, where doors fold open to create breezeways to the outdoors, and transitions between rooms are subtle, open to entirely different spaces to live in. Welcome home.
The Accommodation

The villas have been designed and built to use fewer resources, reduce waste, and minimize the impact on the environment. The Brando is the first resort in the world to achieve LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum Certification.
Every accommodation is a separate home, set away from every other building of this stunning French Polynesian resort. Each villa is entirely shrouded in foliage and offers multiple areas to sleep, relax, read, or just watch nature doing by and the waves lapping against the shoreline. This truly is privacy redefined.
Every villa is constructed using natural and modern materials, advanced insulation, and ventilation. When the windows are closed, you’re shut off from the outside world in your own private cocoon. And all that quiet means some of the best sleeps ever.

One Bedroom Villa
1 King, 2 Sofa Beds (96 sq m)
Just off the main path lies a thatched roof hut, your gateway to an elevated walkway that leads from public space to your private place. As you cross the threshold and close the door behind you, the beach and ocean come into view, the foliage wraps you in a gentle embrace, and too many places to count call you to relax and take it all in. At this moment it’s just you, secluded from everything but the ones you love.
-
Family One Bedroom Villa
1 King, Twin Beds, or Additional King (96 sq m)

2 King Beds (168 sq m)
A stay in these villas provides some of the best rest ever. Sleep with the shades up to arise to the morning sun or block out the light to create a comfortable cocoon to recharge in. -

3 King Beds (246 sq m)
At the far reaches of the Onetahi motu lies a villa big enough for families or friends while offering plenty of places to get away and nap, relax or have a little you time. Whether spending the afternoon together around the pool, or going your own separate ways, then coming back to meet at day’s end for a sunset cocktail before dinner, this is what life on Tetiaroa is all about.
-

Bob's Bar
Beachside food and drink in Marlon Brando’s original bar
Long before the Brando existed, there was Bob’s Bar. It all started here, where Marlon would come at the end of each day and ask his friend Bob to create a cocktail for him. The in-the-round homage to Marlon and Bob sits squarely on the beach and serves up South Pacific food and drink inspired by Marlon’s films.
Put your feet in the sand, order Marlon’s favourite cocktail–a Dirty Old Bob, then raise your glass, and give a toast to Tetiaroa.

Sushi is expertly sliced and rolled, steak and shrimp are cooked to perfection in front of you, and sake pairings are the perfect complement to a multi-course meal. It’s here around the grill where you chat about where you’re from, share the adventures you’ve experienced while on Tetiaroa, and connect with other guests who quickly become new friends

Feel the heartbeat of Tetiaroa
Varua Te Ora Polynesian Spa is a sanctuary, the central beating heart of Tetiaroa. To enter is to step through a portal onto elevated pathways that wind through tropical undergrowth, diverging here and there like the branches of a tree, and leading to secret spaces for relaxation, meditation, contemplation, and treatment.
It is in this quiet place where you’ll feel mana, or energy, which holds the power to be connected. Long after your time on Tetiaroa, you’ll find you’re still connected—to nature, to family, and to the Polynesian culture and way of life.
Fare Mana
Just up a few steps off the sand lies Fare Mana, where the setting is a simple platform, covered from the sun and rain, yet open to the holistic healing powers of the nature and water that surrounds you.
This sacred place represents the very essence of Tetiaroa, a place that cleanses your soul and sets the tone for mindful meditation, yoga, and sound baths. For you alone or with a handful of others, a guide is here to lead you wherever may you want to journey.
Fare Manu
Fare Manu is a giant nest in the treetops, a retreat within Varua Te Ora spa. The “house of the bird” is a place where couples come together to connect with nature and each other in a private setting away from other guests, and the world beyond.
Palm fronds rustle in the wind, birds call to each other, and time becomes a distant memory as traditional Polynesian rituals nurture and heal weary muscles and minds. More than a secluded space for massage, an outdoor bath and casual lounge spaces call you to linger and dream with the one you love.
