  • Guests who choose this rental will have full access to The Lodge which comfortably accommodates 12 (double occupancy), and sole use of the common areas within the space including the media room and lobster temple.

    Guests will also have shared access to the outdoor spaces on Strum Island such as the beach and Rose Hut.

  • The Anchor Suite

    Enjoy late nights socialising by the fire, or stargazing at The Rose Hut, and then retreat to your cosy suite for some peace and quiet. The Anchor Suite has a comfortable king size bed, as well as a sofa and convenient work space overlooking the courtyard. This suite is the perfect sidekick to The Schooner Suite, for guests wishing to book a room near to friends or family.

The Osprey Suite features a main bedroom with balcony, 3-piece ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet, and cosy sitting room/library. Up a set of private stairs, guests can access the tower with an attached balcony, a truly one of a kind viewing area, with 360° views of the idyllic landscape and surrounding Mahone Bay.     The Lodge at Strum Island is the ideal location for those who enjoy sportfishing. You can enjoy a pleasant day in the inland waterways or visit the deeper ocean waters. You will find unlimited varieties of fish like Mackerel, Cod, Hake, Pollack, Catfish, and Boston Bluefish in the latter.

    There is a reason why the Mahone Bay area attracts boats from around the world. The water around the island is ideal for both amateurs and experts. You can practice your sailing by yourself or enjoy the activities at The Mahone Bay Classic Boat Festival, The Tall Ships Festival and Chester Race Week.
